On March 22, in Glubokoye, the victims of the Khatyn tragedy were commemorated.

More than forty settlements were destroyed in the territory of the modern Glubokoye district, and each of them is a story full of pain and loss.

Representatives of authorities, political parties, and public organizations, as well as ordinary concerned citizens, gathered in the Lavrinovka tract, where a monument to the burned villages is erected.

Alexander Shubsky, Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, emphasized: "It is important to remember the horrors that our ancestors experienced. This is not only a tribute of respect but also a lesson for future generations."

Participants of the event laid flowers at the monument, symbolizing gratitude and sorrow. The memory of those who gave their lives for a peaceful sky must live in our hearts.
