On September 25, a Unified Safety Day will be held in the country

On September 25, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in conjunction with other agencies, will conduct a comprehensive set of measures aimed at training the public on actions in various emergency situations, as well as increasing citizens' awareness of safety issues.

Glubokoe district will be no exception. On this day, a mass event will be held on the territory of the "Brigantina" playground from 11:00 to 14:00, involving interested services and organizations of the district.

The relevance of the safety topic is confirmed almost annually by examples of major fires, one of which occurred last year in Vitebsk.

On December 13, 2024, a major fire occurred in the "Belarus" shopping center, in which 17 people were injured. Fires of this scale are rare for Belarus. On that day, thanks to the coordinated actions of eyewitnesses and rescuers, human casualties were avoided.

Skills of evacuation from buildings, ability to read evacuation plans and move according to directional signs, including having an idea of crowd behavior rules – all these knowledge will be useful in case of an emergency situation in various public places: cinemas, shopping centers, stadiums, etc.

This is precisely why the goal of the Unified Safety Day is to train the public on actions during fires, emergency situations, and providing first aid to victims.

On this day, events dedicated to the Unified Safety Day will be held in all regions of the Vitebsk region.
