The "Safe Holidays" campaign continues its journey through the district
As part of the summer camps, emergency service employees conducted a series of thematic interactive sessions. These events were aimed at teaching children safety basics, combining a game format with the acquisition of valuable knowledge. During the sessions, participants reviewed potential risks typical for the summer period, analyzed the causes of fires, memorized emergency service contact information, and practiced response algorithms in case of fire, including how to correctly call rescuers.
Of course, they also talked about how to behave near water. Rescuers explained to the children where it is safe to swim and reminded them that one must be very careful on the water. They also explained what to do if you suddenly feel like you are drowning or if you get a cramp.
As part of the meetings, children not only received theoretical knowledge but also enriched their understanding in an interactive safety zone. There, they were able to experience the atmosphere of rescue operations. A thematic "Water Rescue" area was functioning, where they were provided with information about the work of rescuers on water bodies. Everyone had the opportunity to try on the role of a rescuer and practice with the "Alexandrov's rope."
Campers also joined together in "safety hits."
At the end of the meeting, rescuers handed out memorable safety booklets to all participants of the campaign and wished everyone a safe and carefree holiday.
