The "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" Campaign: Leadership of the Glubokoye District and Deputies Visited the Nursing Care Department in Podsvilye

In anticipation of the bright holiday of Christmas, when the soul strives for kindness and compassion, meetings are being held in our district as part of the republican campaign "From the Bottom of Our Hearts". This initiative, designed to remind us of those who have lived a long life and need attention and care, has found a lively response in many hearts.

On January 6, the nursing care unit at Podsvilye Hospital became the venue for a special meeting. Here, among those who for various reasons found themselves alone or in need of constant assistance, were Anatoly Sivko, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Petr Belus, Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, his deputy Tatyana Tarasevich, Vera Telitsa, Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Council of Deputies, and Eduard Dlużniewski, Deputy of the District Council and Director of the Dvinsk Experimental Forest Base. They brought with them not only gifts but also a piece of heartfelt warmth.

As Vasily Zelenkov, Chief Physician of the Glubokoye Central District Hospital, noted, there are currently 33 people in the unit – lonely elderly people and disabled individuals, for whom every visit and kind word becomes a real event. And the guests did not come empty-handed. Accompanied by fairy-tale characters – Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) and Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) – they presented the residents with sweet gifts: cakes, candies, cookies, as well as fresh apples provided by entrepreneur Igor Golyak.

Anatoly Sivko, addressing the attendees, emphasized the importance of institutions such as nursing care departments in ensuring a dignified life for lonely elderly people and those in need of support.

He wished everyone good health, high spirits, inexhaustible optimism, and more joyful moments in life, so that each day brings light and warmth.

Petr Belus, in turn, focused on the social orientation of state policy, which prioritizes care for citizens. He noted that the "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" campaign is an opportunity for the entire society to pay attention to those who have found themselves in difficult life situations and need support. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee congratulated everyone on the upcoming holidays and wished them peace, kindness, well-being, and that hope and faith in the best always live in their hearts.

Vera Telitsa also joined the words, emphasizing that attention and care are what every person needs, regardless of age and circumstances. She noted that this campaign has become a good tradition and contributes to strengthening intergenerational ties and mutual understanding in our society.

After the gifts found their recipients, Ded Moroz and Snegurochka gave everyone an unforgettable performance, singing favorite New Year's songs.

Further, as part of the working visit, representatives of the district administration, along with Anatoly Sivko and Vasily Zelenkov, proceeded to the hospital's canteen. Last year, cosmetic repairs were carried out here, and now the focus was on further improvements.
