On June 3, the competition "Best Employee of the State System for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies and Civil Defense of the Vitebsk Region" is being held in Vitebsk.

The annual competition is held with the aim of improving professional skills, raising the level of knowledge and practical skills in the field of protecting the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies and civil defense, and identifying the most professionally trained employees of city (district) emergency departments.

To win the title of "best in profession," participants had to go through seven stages. Officers demonstrated their professional skills and knowledge in practice in engineering and technical civil defense measures, as well as medical and radiation-chemical protection. They had to demonstrate their creative abilities in the "Business Card" competition.

The competition participants showed their high level of professionalism and skill in testing, solving situational tasks, and physical and fire training.

The results of the competition will be announced in July.
