Alcohol and driving do not mix!

Under this title, the Traffic Police Department of the Public Security Militia of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs will conduct preventive measures from February 24 to February 25, 2023, aimed at preventing road traffic accidents caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol.

Unfortunately, it is still not possible to eradicate drunk driving. Despite the propaganda for safe behavior of road users conducted by the State Automobile Inspectorate, there are still quite a few citizens who do not mind driving a car or motorcycle while intoxicated.

We would like to remind you once again about the responsibility for driving vehicles while intoxicated: driving a vehicle with an absolute ethyl alcohol content in the blood or exhaled air in a concentration of up to 0.8 per mille – entails a fine of one hundred basic units and deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of three years, over 0.8 per mille – entails a fine of two hundred basic units and deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of five years.

The Traffic Police Department of the Public Security Militia of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs calls on road users to comply with the Traffic Rules. It advocates for joint efforts to restore order on the city roads and eradicate drunk driving.
