The Prosecutor's Office of the Glubokoye District supported the state prosecution against citizen Petrov A.A. (data changed), who committed a crime provided for by Part 1 of Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Glubokoye District supported the state prosecution against citizen Petrov A.A. (data changed), who committed a crime provided for by Part 1 of Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. The criminal prosecution authorities accused Petrov of intentionally and systematically beating his cohabitant, which did not result in consequences provided for by Articles 147 and 149 of the Criminal Code (torture).
The defendant fully admitted his guilt during the court hearing. He explained that the blame lay with the consumed alcohol and the ensuing fits of jealousy.
The court of the Glubokoye District rendered a guilty verdict against Petrov. Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, Petrov was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment without a fine, with the execution of the imposed sentence deferred for 1 year. The court obliged Petrov to perform socially useful work for 100 hours in his free time. The verdict has entered into legal force.
