On December 15, 2023, a preventive event "Learn the traffic rules yourself - teach your loved ones!" will be held in the city of Glubokoye and Glubokoye district. The event is aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving minors, as well as increasing the responsibility of adults for children's safety on the road.

The event is aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving minors, as well as increasing the responsibility of adults for children's safety on the road.
Over 11 months of 2023, 35 road traffic accidents involving minors were registered in the Vitebsk region, in which 1 child died and 39 were injured.
Child pedestrians are at increased risk when crossing the road and in other situations – most often simply because they do not know how to behave correctly. They take behavioral examples from their parents and other relatives, which are sometimes far from ideal.
Dear adults, observe traffic rules and be a good role model! Regularly remind your children of the basic safety rules:
always wear reflective elements on your clothing;
before getting out from behind a parked car, make sure the road is safe;
cross the road only at a pedestrian crossing, making sure that all drivers yield;
before entering the roadway, you need to take off your headphones and stop using your phone. Pay full attention to the road;
no games near the road, there are designated areas for this.
