On April 26, traffic police officers, as part of the "Safe Area" preventive event, will conduct checks on major highways to prevent traffic violations, including those related to driving into oncoming lanes and exceeding speed limits.
The objective of the preventive event is to prevent all categories of road traffic accidents.
Traffic police inspectors will conduct checks on roads and settlements using overt, covert, and mixed control methods to prevent traffic violations by pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, as well as violations of speed limits and overtaking rules.
Drivers will also be under the watchful eye of road safety officers. The traffic police department's work will be aimed at preventing the operation of vehicles by intoxicated drivers, as well as by those who do not have a driving license. Traffic police officers will also pay attention to the physical condition of pedestrians and the presence of reflective elements on them during nighttime.
