Safety of citizens and quality of life: key issues were considered at the Glubokoye District Executive Committee

An regular meeting of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee was held under the leadership of Chairman Petr Kazimirovich Belus. Anatoly Sivko, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the meeting.

The first item on the agenda was formulated as: "On compliance with the requirements of Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 1 of March 11, 2004 "On measures to strengthen public safety and discipline" in the Glubokoye district."

Elena Borovik, Head of the Labor, Employment and Social Protection Department of the District Executive Committee, delivered the main report. She presented a comprehensive analysis of the work carried out in the district to protect the life and health of citizens in various spheres.

Heads of key services acted as co-rapporteurs, detailing the situation in their respective areas.

Alexey Kisel, Head of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations, reported on the organization of work to ensure fire and industrial safety at economic entities, focusing on preventive measures and the condition of equipment.

Sergey Yeshchenko, Head of the Public Order and Prevention Department of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs, highlighted the organization of work to ensure public safety, the state of the crime situation, and measures to prevent offenses.

Veronika Semchenok, Deputy Chief Physician of the Glubokoye Central District Hospital, spoke about the organization of work to prevent and overcome drunkenness, alcoholism, drug addiction, as well as measures to prevent suicides and suicidal behavior among the population.

Valery Shaban, Chairman of the Glubokoye District Association "Belarusian Republican Society for the Rescue of People on Water," reported on the measures being taken in the district to prevent the loss of life on water, reminding of the importance of observing safety rules.

The second item on the agenda was "Compliance with State Social Standards for Serving the Population in the Glubokoye District in 2025."

Tatyana Konstantinova, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, delivered a detailed report on this topic. Her presentation included a detailed analysis of the fulfillment of established standards in the areas of healthcare, education, culture, social, domestic, and transport services. Achieved indicators were noted, and areas requiring additional attention to improve the quality of services provided to the population were identified.

Following the discussion, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Petr Belus, summarized the outcomes, identified problematic issues, and issued specific instructions to the responsible services. The work on strengthening public safety and the unconditional fulfillment of social standards remains a priority for the district's executive authorities and will be under constant control.
