July 14, 2025
The Ministry of Internal Affairs' "For Safety - Together!" campaign, held as part of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk," concluded with a spectacular, vibrant event complete with prizes.
The campaign was attended by Dmitry Korkzyuk, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus. He familiarized himself with the numerous locations of police units set up on Victory Square.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs' "For Safety - Together!" campaign took place in a wonderful festival atmosphere. During these days, Vitebsk transformed into a true cultural capital, attracting a large number of guests from Belarus and abroad. It was important to create a comfortable and safe environment for them, and I believe we succeeded. Thanks, in part, to the efforts of the police, people experienced true Belarusian hospitality. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign was harmoniously integrated into the fabric of the "Slavianski Bazaar." Not only children but also adults, after visiting all our locations and interactive platforms, became convinced that we work openly and provided people with information about almost all units – internal and special troops, traffic police, riot police, criminal police, the Department of Security – noted Dmitry Korkzyuk.
The Deputy Minister thanked the festival organizers and assured that future events organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs would be equally spectacular and informative.
Over four days, more than 10,000 people visited the police-themed areas and received flyers. On the final day, they participated in a raffle for a mountain bike. The lucky winner of the grand prize was Olga Brueva from Vitebsk, who, along with her 12-year-old son Artem, completed the entire interactive route. The main prize was presented to the winners by Dmitry Korkzyuk. Also participating in the award ceremony were Gleb Lapitsky, Director of the International Arts Forum "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk," Belarusian singer Gunesh, and Russian performer Artur Rudenko.
