It is impossible to cope with such a fire without the help of rescuers – there is a high probability of getting caught in a fiery trap or suffocating in smoke.

Annually, during the spring-summer fire hazard period, cases of dry vegetation fires occur in the Vitebsk region. Thus, in 2021, 126 grass and shrub fires were extinguished in the Vitebsk region, covering a total area of 74.3545 hectares, and 23 forest fires covering a total area of 34.5515 hectares.
