Future heroes at the start: the district rally of young rescuer-firefighter clubs has taken place
Glubokoye. Future Heroes at the Starting Line: District Rally of Young Rescuer-Firefighter Clubs Held
The Glubokoye District Gymnasium was temporarily transformed into a real safety "hub." The rally of young rescuer-firefighter clubs was held here – an event that brought together the most active, brave, and prepared schoolchildren from all over the district. And although they may not yet have combat uniforms and titles, the spirit of a rescuer is already in the heart of each of them.
Early in the morning, teams from different parts of the Glubokoye district gathered at the district gymnasium. Flags, emblems, mottos – everything was like at a real safety festival. The children came not just to compete, but to show that they are ready to act, help, and learn. Each team underwent trials. And although everything was in a game format, the emotions were real. Spectators cheered, judges recorded seconds, and participants fought not for medals, but for the title of the best young rescuers.
Quickly putting on firefighting gear, extinguishing a "fire," evacuating a "victim," answering questions on first aid, rules of conduct in emergency situations, creatively presenting their team, demonstrating cohesion and a well-rehearsed march – all this was part of the rally.
During their creative performances, featuring musical compositions, dance sketches, and short plays, the teams spoke about their contributions to fire prevention, the prevention of fatalities in fires, their attitude towards safety, their love for their homeland, and their friendship with the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Of course, every rescuer must know and be able to provide first aid to a victim. In the competition with the symbolic name "First Aid Provision," participants dealt with fractures, loss of consciousness, cardiac arrest, and much more. During the rally of young rescuer-firefighter clubs, the participants were able to express themselves not only creatively but also demonstrate their knowledge in the field of life safety. There was also a competition where marching precision is of utmost importance, as the team must have a common sense of formation and alignment. Traditionally, the most exciting moment of the rally is the "Combat Deployment" competition. Here, the young rescuers were tasked with donning their combat gear, laying a main hose line, and extinguishing a simulated fire.
Based on the results of all competitive trials, the team from Udelovskaya Secondary School proved to be the best, with the silver medals going to the students from Secondary School No. 2 of Glubokoe named after P.N. Svirko, and the team from Korobovskaya Secondary School of Glubokoe District named after R.I. Mateyun taking the third step of the podium.
The winners received certificates, commemorative prizes, and an invitation to the zonal stage. But the main thing is not the awards, but the atmosphere. Friendship, support, a common cause. There were no losers here, because everyone left with new knowledge, impressions, and the confidence that safety is paramount.
The ceremonial presentation of certificates to members of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters took place in the assembly hall. For the children, this is not just a document, but a symbol of responsibility, knowledge, and readiness to help others.
The rally of young rescuers is a real school of life, where they learn to be brave, attentive, and ready to come to the aid. The rally also proves that heroes grow among us. They are just in sneakers and with backpacks for now.
