As you sow, so shall you reap

Every spring, all state bodies and organizations pay special attention to the quality of the sowing campaign, which is a crucial event in the activities of agricultural organizations. The food security of the country depends on its effectiveness and quality.

In this regard, the district prosecutor's office, together with the Glubokoye inter-district department of the Vitebsk regional department of the State Labor Inspectorate, conducted supervisory measures on compliance by agricultural organizations of the Glubokoye district with legislation on property preservation and labor protection during the 2025 sowing campaign.

The purpose of these measures is to assess the adequacy of actions taken by the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee and agricultural organizations to ensure timely preparation for and high-quality conduct of the sowing campaign.

The conducted raids showed that the heads of agricultural organizations in the district are taking certain organizational and practical measures aimed at the efficient use of material resources and conducting the sowing campaign within optimal agro-technical deadlines.

At the same time, there are instances of employers failing to provide healthy and safe working conditions, as well as a lack of proper control over labor and executive discipline.

In order to eliminate the identified violations of legislation, the prosecutor's office of the Glubokoye district has submitted a corresponding representation to the Department of Agriculture and Food.
