A delegation from the Glubokoye district visited the Palace of the Republic in Minsk, where a festive event was held dedicated to the most important holiday of our country – Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

October Square was bustling with activity. Emotions ran high among all participants of the event.

Members of the delegation shared their expectations and emotions about the upcoming celebration with correspondents from the RTR-Belarus television channel.

In the foyer of the Palace of the Republic, a thematic exhibition was set up before the concert of arts masters "Voice of the Native Land".

After viewing the exhibition, concert participants gladly took commemorative photos.

The solemn concert began with a performance by the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko: "The choice of date for celebrating Independence Day is historically justified and embraced by the hearts of Belarusians."

"At the most critical moment of the Red Army's victorious offensive, the day of Minsk's liberation became a harbinger of the victorious May 9th, a symbol of the revival of the Belarusian land and the entire Soviet people. The choice of the date for our main state holiday is historically justified and embraced by the heart of each of us, every Belarusian. This choice reflects the will not only of us, contemporaries, who could not have acted otherwise, but also of our fathers and grandfathers," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

After the President's speech, the concert of arts masters "Voice of the Native Land" began at the Palace of the Republic.

– The atmosphere of the concert was permeated with a sense of pride for one's country and faith in its bright future.

Each performance found a warm response in the hall, and prolonged applause testified to the deep empathy of the audience.
