A delegation from the Glubokoye district visited the requiem concert "Every Third".

Representatives from all regions of Belarus will see the requiem concert dedicated to the memory of the victims and heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The project runs from April 6 to April 12 at the Palace of the Republic.

The stage features both widely known musical works from the Soviet period and new compositions by contemporary Belarusian authors.

The requiem concert was complemented by thematic exhibition projects presented in the foyer of the Palace of the Republic.

A series of thematic exhibition projects dedicated to the fates of people, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers are presented in the foyer of the Palace of the Republic: the photo exhibition "Fates Folded into a Triangle," the exhibition "Partisan Feats and Fates in Documents," the exhibition "Genocide: Documents and Eyewitnesses Testify," the exhibition "Bread – The Invisible Power of Victory," and the picture revival project "For the Next Day of All the Land."

The delegation from Glubokoye District familiarized themselves with the exhibition exposition.

– This is not just an exhibition – it is a true museum of memory. Each exhibition project, each display case is filled with special meaning. The photo exhibition "Fates Folded into a Triangle" and the exhibition "Bread – The Invisible Power of Victory!" were particularly touching.

I believe that this exhibition is an important tool for preserving historical memory, an effective way to pass on knowledge about the war to the younger generation, and a powerful means of patriotic education. As the head of the delegation from Glubokoye District, I want to note the high level of organization, the thoughtful exposition, and the special atmosphere that creates an emotional immersion into the events of the war years, – said Vera Telitsa, Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Council of Deputies.

– As a representative of the younger generation, I am grateful for the opportunity to visit the thematic exhibition projects dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Here, each exhibit is a lesson in courage and resilience. Here, each item represents someone's fate, someone's pain and heroism. It is especially valuable that the exhibition is equipped with modern technology that attracts the attention of young people, – noted Yana Romanovskaya, First Secretary of the Hlybokaye District Committee of the BRYM.

Such projects help us remain human, remember what is important, and pass this memory on to future generations, – said Elena Myadelets, Director of the Hlybokaye Historical and Ethnographic Museum, Chairperson of the district organization of the republican state-public association "Belarusian Society 'Knowledge'."

The delegation from the Hlybokaye district shares their impressions of the concert-requiem "Every Third."

– The concert is dedicated to the memory of millions of people who died during the Great Patriotic War. The moments when familiar wartime songs were performed on stage were particularly memorable. There were no indifferent faces in the hall – all attendees felt that special atmosphere of unity and remembrance of the feat of our ancestors, – commented Nelya Borovik, an employee of the Hlybokaye State Archive.

– Such events are incredibly important for us, living in peacetime. They help us not to forget the price that had to be paid for our freedom, the courage and resilience of our ancestors. This is not just a concert; it is a dramatic performance filled with patriotism and historical memory, – said Irina Dormeneva, Second Secretary of the Hlybokaye District Committee of the BRYM.
