The delegation of the Glubokoye district is taking part in the second meeting of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly

A delegation from the Glubokoye District, led by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Petr Belus, is participating in the second session of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

The agenda includes the approval of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2026–2030, a key strategic document defining priority areas for growth, economic modernization, improving the quality of life of citizens, and strengthening national security.

– Our task is to propose concrete initiatives that take into account the specifics of our district: the potential of rural areas, historical and cultural heritage, opportunities in tourism and small business. For Glubokoye, the implementation of the program will be an important impetus for further infrastructure development, support for the agro-industrial complex, attracting investment, and creating new jobs.

I am confident that through joint efforts, we will be able to ensure the sustainable development of the region, – emphasized Petr Belus.

Opinion of the Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee Petr Belus following the President's Address:

– The time has chosen us – a time for concrete actions and responsible work. Alexander Lukashenko outlined a clear and balanced plan for the country's development in the coming years. It is especially important that the President emphasized the stability of the economy and the growing confidence in the national currency, despite external challenges. The "One District – One Project" program is already yielding real results – new jobs are being created in our district, and we are ready to continue this work.

Special attention is paid to technological sovereignty and digitalization, which will allow Belarus to strengthen its position in the global market and improve the quality of life of its citizens. Support for agriculture and the development of the agro-industrial complex are key to food security and the sustainability of the countryside, which, as the head of state noted, remains the foundation of our state.

It is gratifying to hear the call for active public participation in legislative processes – this is the key to effective and in-demand solutions. The emphasis on social policy is also important: support for families, development of medicine and sports – all this creates conditions for a long and healthy life for Belarusians.

The President's Address is a guideline for all levels of government and society. We in the Gluboksky district are ready to work towards its implementation to make our region and country stronger and more prosperous.

– The President outlined the course towards import independence and technological sovereignty, which is particularly important for the sustainable development of our economy. Mechanical engineering, high technologies, digitalization are not just words, but real tasks that we must solve locally. I am confident that only through thrift, quality, and support for Belarusian manufacturers can we strengthen the economy and create decent living conditions in the regions. As a delegate from the Gluboksky district, I am ready to actively engage in the implementation of these priorities.

Import independence, technological sovereignty, and the development of mechanical engineering are key areas for strengthening the economy. Support for Belarusian manufacturers and the development of tourism as a powerful tool for economic growth are opportunities for every region. We must work together, respect labor, and care for the future of our children so that Belarus remains strong and independent.
