In order to prevent fires and deaths from them, as well as to train the population on actions upon the signal "Attention everyone!", rescuers will conduct the republican campaign "Safety Day. Attention everyone!" throughout March, timed to coincide with the International Civil Defense Day.
The first stage will take place from March 2 to 12 in dormitories, children's and shopping and entertainment centers, cinemas, and sports facilities. Propaganda workers will hold interactive preventive discussions on safety with dormitory residents, talk about the causes of fires, and also explain that upon hearing the signal "Attention everyone!", one should immediately turn on the TV and listen to the message, which will provide information about the nature of the threat and specific recommendations for population protection and actions.
As for facilities with a large concentration of people, "Safety Parks" will be organized here with interactive platforms and activation zones, as well as a check of knowledge regarding the procedure for action upon the signal "Attention everyone!".
The target audience of the second stage, which will last from March 15 to 31, will be residents of rural settlements. Extensive entertainment and preventive programs will be prepared for them. "Notification Routes" will be organized in rural settlements: useful information on fire safety will be broadcast through the signal siren of fire trucks driving through the streets.
Thematic "safety lessons" will be held in all general education institutions of the district. Children will be told,
what emergency situations exist, explaining how to behave in case of their occurrence. Lectures will also be held with the viewing of films, practical training of student evacuation under the guidance of the working staff from buildings in case of threat or occurrence of an emergency situation.
