"Elections are for this purpose." Lukashenko demands to exclude attempts at "revolutionary" struggle

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, when appointing new heads of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Investigative Committee, set the task to continue to prevent any attempts at "revolutionary" struggle against the existing state system, BELTA correspondent reports.
"This applies to both of you: no attempts at "revolutionary" struggle against the existing state system. There are elections for that. You need to go to the elections and solve these problems. Belarus has everything for this. Moreover, the current President, as I often say, is not clinging to power with blued fingers," Alexander Lukashenko said.

"I am a departing person. Although many have seized upon this: "Oh, departing!.." (this thesis was recently voiced by the President at a meeting of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. - BELTA note). Some are worried, some are happy. This does not mean that tomorrow we will drop everything, including me, and leave. But it is clear that I am no longer the person who has been President for the first or second year," the head of state noted.
"This means that I will sacredly observe the rights and interests of our people. You must work in this regard," Alexander Lukashenko added.
