The working schedule of the President of Belarus is always full of events.
Alexander Lukashenko holds meetings and working sessions on the most pressing issues of the country's development, regularly visits regions, makes foreign visits, and receives foreign guests himself, communicates with journalists, and signs decrees and laws. And even when there are no public events, it does not mean that the head of state is not working. However, even during his leisure time, whether it's a hockey practice or chopping wood, Alexander Lukashenko always finds an opportunity for another assignment. As he likes to say, one must always proceed from life.
The current working week of the Belarusian leader was largely related to China. The main event was the three-day visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Beijing, where a friendly family dinner was held with the Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping, as well as negotiations with representatives of Chinese business circles. The parties agreed to intensify relations, and one of the most important issues on the agenda is joint technological development and modernization in industry.
And at the end of the week in Minsk, Alexander Lukashenko took part in the grand opening of the National Football Stadium. This is a gift from China to the Belarusian side, which became possible thanks to the personal decision of Xi Jinping.
A significant date in the spiritual life of Belarus - this week Alexander Lukashenko congratulated compatriots on the 900th anniversary of the Holy Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk. Patriarch Kirill also arrived at the monastery's celebration, whom the President met in Minsk on June 6.
This week Alexander Lukashenko signed two important decrees - on improving the efficiency of control (supervisory) activities, as well as on innovations in the gambling business. These documents were the subject of discussion at a recent meeting of the President with the leadership of the Council of Ministers and have now been practically implemented.
A greeting from the head of state was addressed to the participants of the V Forum of the Belarusian Media Community and the XXI National Competition "Golden Letter". By the way, the grand prize of the competition was won by a BELTA project.
Foreign congratulations on various occasions were sent this week to Italy, Equatorial Guinea, Denmark, and Sweden.
Alexander Lukashenko also congratulated the staff of A.S. Pushkin Brest State University on the 80th anniversary of the university's founding.

The President of Belarus paid a visit to China from June 2 to 4. The days of Alexander Lukashenko's stay in Beijing were filled with negotiations with representatives of Chinese business circles. The main event was a meeting with Xi Jinping, which for the first time took place at the Chinese leader's home, in the Zhongnanhai residence. This is a sign of special favor and friendship between the heads of state.
