On April 22, 2024, the President of Belarus signed Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 365-Z "On Amendments to Laws on Entrepreneurial Activities". It establishes new approaches to regulating entrepreneurial activities, provides for the development of the state financial support system for small and medium-sized businesses, and involves making adjustments to regulatory legal acts governing consumer protection, population employment, and taxation.
The National Center for Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus held a webinar to clarify the legislative innovations. Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and the National Cadastral Agency spoke at the studio.
The speakers covered in detail the issues of:
forming a new architecture of entrepreneurial activities;
expanding the scope of state financial support;
the procedure for an individual entrepreneur to establish a commercial organization;
taxation;
expanding the range of individuals participating in the state social security system, taking into account legislative changes;
registration of rights to real estate during the reorganization of an individual entrepreneur into a legal entity.
