High school students visited the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations on an excursion.
During the excursion, the girls, together with the rescuers, recalled the causes of fires and tried to draw conclusions on how to avoid them. They recalled emergency service numbers and practiced the algorithm of actions in case of a fire. They also had the opportunity to feel like real rescuers: they sat behind the wheel of a fire truck, tried on firefighter-rescuer suits, and also practiced supplying water from a tanker using a high-pressure hose. The Ministry of Emergency Situations employees talked about the rescuer service, their daily work, gave examples of the most memorable fire calls, and also reminded the children of the basic fire safety rules, urging them to be attentive and cautious.
An excursion to the fire department is not just entertainment, but also an engaging introduction to the profession and fire-fighting equipment, as it is possible that after such meetings, someone will express a desire to join the ranks of rescuers.
Dear parents! Teach your children safety rules and how to act in emergency situations, call rescuers, and help people in trouble. Remember, making your children's childhood safe is your responsibility.
