A resident of Glubokoye became the best at the regional safety competition

On March 2, the regional stage of the "School of Safety - 2022" competition took place. About 70 top students from educational institutions of the Vitebsk region gathered to demonstrate their knowledge in life safety. Traditionally, three age groups participated in the competition: primary school students, middle school students, and high school students.
On March 2, the regional stage of the "School of Safety - 2022" competition took place. About 70 top students from educational institutions of the Vitebsk region gathered to demonstrate their knowledge in life safety. Traditionally, three age groups participated in the competition: primary school students, middle school students, and high school students.
To represent the Glubokoye district, the winners of the district stage were Vankovich Bogdan (3rd grade of the gymnasium), Rykov Maxim (6th grade of Secondary School No. 1), and Kizhalo Maria (9th grade of Secondary School No. 1).
In the first competition event, "Testing," participants had 60 minutes to answer 100 questions and achieve the highest possible score. Our students were well-prepared and passed this test with good results.
In the second stage, students had to present an ESSAY "I will tell you...", where each participant spoke for 1 minute. In such a short period, the Glubokoye participants demonstrated their public speaking skills, revealed the topic, and presented the material originally.
Only 5 participants from each age group, who scored the highest total points based on the results of the 2 competition events, were to advance to the final.
Kizhalo Maria managed to do this, taking 2nd place. In the final event, correct answers allowed Maria to overtake her competitors and win the regional competition.
Now Maria faces a serious task – to represent the region at the Republican competition, which starts on March 31.
The Glubokoye District Emergency Department expresses its gratitude to Beynarovich Natalia Nikolaevna, who was Maria's mentor and took a direct part in preparing the girl for the regional competition.
