In the modern world, where technological progress is advancing by leaps and bounds, and the pace of life is accelerating with every second, ensuring safety becomes a priority task. And here, active preventive work with the population through various forms of work, including meetings with work collectives, comes to the forefront. After all, one of the most important aspects of the work of rescuers is prevention.

 

Why work collectives specifically? The answer is simple: often, a work collective represents not just a group of people united by common professional tasks, but also a kind of mini-model of society with its own internal rules and relationships. Therefore, preventing safety and rules of conduct in emergency situations within work collectives allows for reaching a wide audience and forming a safety culture that extends beyond the walls of the enterprise and spreads to families and society as a whole.

Vlad Volkov, an inspector of the supervision and prevention sector of the Glubokoe District Department for Emergency Situations, began his meeting with statistics on fires in the current year and dwelled in detail on specific cases and emergencies that occurred in the district and the region as a whole.

"At first glance, it might seem that every adult already knows about safety rules. However, practice shows that this is not always the case. Habit, routine, and sometimes simple ignorance can lead to serious consequences," - draws the attention of the listeners to the employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The main task of such meetings is to convey to each employee the importance of a conscious attitude towards their own safety and the safety of others. In his speech, Vlad Volov drew attention to a very serious societal problem, namely smoking while intoxicated.

"We see people who, it would seem, consciously choose the path of self-destruction. They smoke, drink, and, unfortunately, many of them die from the consequences of these bad habits. This is not just statistics, these are tragedies that unfold before our eyes, affecting families, friends, and society as a whole," - comments the inspector of the Glubokoe District Department for Emergency Situations. He also touched upon the rules for operating electrical equipment, stove safety, rules for using a fire extinguisher, and the importance of installing a fire alarm.
