The Head of the Glubokoe District Department for Emergency Situations, Alexey Kisel, held a village assembly to answer questions in direct dialogue and remind about key safety rules.
"Safety rules are not just written on paper. They are forged by the fire element. They must be observed without fail, because our tomorrow is hidden in them," – began his speech the Head of the Glubokoe District Department for Emergency Situations.
The meeting was not just a lecture, but a lively discussion. The Ministry of Emergency Situations officer emphasized the prevention of those emergencies that are most relevant to rural areas in the autumn-winter period. He presented fire statistics, highlighting the alarming trend of an increase in fires, especially in residential areas. Special attention was paid to the most common causes of fires, including: careless handling of fire, particularly smoking while intoxicated. Violation of electrical equipment operating rules: power grid overload, use of faulty appliances, homemade heaters. Malfunction of stove heating: cracks in chimneys, absence of hearth mats, overheating of the stove.
"It is these 'domestic' factors that cause most fires," emphasized Alexey Kisel. The issue of being on water was also addressed. The rescuer warned about the dangers of going out on thin ice and reminded of the algorithm of actions if a person falls through the ice.
The Head of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations urged everyone to check the operability of autonomous fire alarms in their homes and reminded that their timely signal has already saved more than one life.
"Our common task is not to fight the consequences, but to prevent disaster. For this, it is important that every resident is attentive and aware of their responsibility. Safety in the village is created not only by our efforts, but also by your vigilance," the rescuer addressed the attendees.
During the meeting, residents actively asked questions: how to properly extinguish a fire that has started, whom to call first, how to help elderly neighbors. Everyone received clear recommendations and handouts with illustrated safety rules.
