As part of the republican campaign "Safe New Year", the inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector, Kravtsov Anton, together with members of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers – Firefighters, visited the households of single elderly citizens.

Armed with shovels, our volunteers helped the elderly people cope with the now overwhelming cleaning and household chores.

The children cleared the yard of snow, helped tidy up, and most importantly, provided moral support. After all, single citizens need not only help but also simple human support and communication with people, especially with the younger generation.

Our children were very happy to listen to stories from the past and imagine themselves in that time. It was very interesting and informative, and they learned important life lessons.

The conversation was informative not only for the children. Rescuers, along with Ded Moroz (Father Frost), reminded the elderly people about fire safety rules: stove operation, the need to install an autonomous fire alarm, the dangers of smoking at home, and much more. After the conversation, single pensioners were presented with visual information and leaflets that will serve as reminders of fire safety rules.
