The Glubokoye district is pleased with the good indicators of the winter barley harvest

Agricultural enterprises in our district have begun the winter barley harvest, and the initial results are already promising. Despite the spring cold snap, which could have negatively impacted yields, the farmers are confident in their success. Specifically, four combine crews are working in the fields of the "Za Rodinu" agricultural enterprise, harvesting the fruits of their labor from morning till night.

– The yield is truly good – 30 centners per hectare. We are all striving not to miss a single minute, – says combine operator Stanislav Vitko, working in a field near the village of Shunevichi. – The barley has ripened, and now is the time to harvest it. I hope that this year we will be able to surpass last year's results.

Experienced machine operator Sergey Semashko is not lagging behind his colleagues.

– Every year is a new story for me. The barley this year is pleasing, and I am confident that we will gather an excellent harvest. The most important things are the weather and our desire to work, – says Sergey, looking at the golden fields with a smile.

Experienced machine operators Mikhail Kushnerevich and Sergey Zelenkevich are also working in the "Za Rodinu" team.

– We know how to operate the machinery, and that gives us an advantage. Every year we try to improve our results, and this year it seems we will succeed, – shares Mikhail.

In total, "Za Rodinu" farm has 480 hectares of barley to harvest, and with such morale and the experience of the combine operators, it can be confidently said that the harvest will be not only good.
