The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Glubokoye district reminds that the republican campaign "Change tires on your car!" is taking place until December 5, which is aimed at promoting the operation of vehicles in winter conditions.

Dear drivers! According to clause 207.1 of the Traffic Regulations of the Republic of Belarus, when participating in road traffic from December 1 to March 1, vehicles with a technically permissible mass of up to 3.5 tons inclusive, cars and light trucks with a technically permissible total mass of over 3.5 tons, buses with a technically permissible total mass of up to 5 tons must be equipped with winter tires. The tire must be marked with one of the abbreviations: "M+S", "M & S", "M S", "M.S", a three-peak snowflake symbol, or "All Seasons". The residual tread depth must be at least 4 mm. Administrative liability is provided for operating a vehicle with off-season tires.
