Talking about safety

Throughout the summer, EMERCOM employees regularly visit children's camps to remind children of the importance of observing safety rules during the summer holidays.

Meetings between boys and girls and rescuers are always fun and useful. This time, representatives of the "101" service visited the "Rodnichok" health camp.

Despite the fact that summer is drawing to a close, EMERCOM employees remind us of the importance of observing safety rules. Special attention is paid to water safety and safe swimming. Many participants in the event admitted that they know how to swim, but do not know how to act correctly if someone is drowning.

An important reminder for the vacationers was that children under 14 years of age can swim only when accompanied by adults, and only in designated areas. In addition, EMERCOM employees reminded that one should not dive in unverified places and swim beyond the buoys.

Rescuers hope that their visit, and most importantly, the knowledge they have gained in the basics of life safety, will remain in the children's memory for a long time and will help them avoid emergencies.
