The Prosecutor's Office of the Glubokoye District supported the state prosecution against a 20-year-old resident of the district, who is accused of causing grievous bodily harm by negligence (Article 155 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).

According to the case materials, on December 31, 2023, near the "Pyramida" bar in Glubokoye, a conflict occurred between patrons due to personal animosity, as a result of which citizen P. struck citizen X. with a fist to the face, causing the latter to fall and hit his head on the asphalt surface.

As a result of these actions, the victim sustained grievous bodily harm posing a danger to life.

P. fully admitted his guilt in the committed crime.

Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court rendered a guilty verdict against citizen P. under Article 155 of the Criminal Code, and he was sentenced to correctional labor.

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
