The Prosecutor's Office of Glubokoye District supported the state prosecution against a 43-year-old resident of Glubokoye, who is accused of non-compliance with preventive supervision requirements without valid reasons, committed by a person under preventive supervision, who has been administratively penalized twice within a year for similar violations (Article 421 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).

The Prosecutor's Office of Glubokoye District supported the state prosecution against a 43-year-old resident of Glubokoye, who is accused of non-compliance with preventive supervision requirements without valid reasons, committed by a person under preventive supervision, who has been administratively penalized twice within a year for similar violations (Article 421 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).

According to the materials of the criminal case, citizen G. was placed under preventive supervision for a period of 6 months by court order after his release from the correctional institution. In connection therewith, he was obliged to comply with a number of requirements (to arrive at the chosen place of residence within the established period and report to the internal affairs body for registration, to notify the internal affairs body of any change of residence, to appear at the internal affairs body for registration once a month, not to leave his dwelling from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following day, not to travel outside the district (city) for official or personal matters without the consent of the internal affairs body).

The order was announced to citizen G., and he was also warned in writing about administrative and criminal liability in case of non-compliance with the preventive supervision requirements.

After repeated violations of the preventive supervision requirements, citizen G. was twice brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 25.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. However, the latter did not draw proper conclusions for himself and continued to fail to comply with the preventive supervision requirements.

G. fully admitted his guilt in the committed crime.

Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court rendered a guilty verdict against citizen G. under Article 421 of the Criminal Code and sentenced him to imprisonment for a term of 1 year.

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
