Ready for the autumn-winter period

On September 17, the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, in conjunction with the district branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and representatives of the Novopolotsk Inter-district Department of the Vitebsk Regional State Industrial Supervision Inspectorate, conducted tactical special exercises in case of adverse weather conditions, accidents (incidents) at life support networks and facilities during the autumn-winter period. The exercises were attended by the Emergency Situations Commission under the District Executive Committee, members of the Emergency Situations Response Headquarters, and the district emergency services.

According to the exercise scenario, a boiler house of the housing and communal services of the city of Glubokoye suffered an accident due to a sharp drop in ambient air temperature. As a result of the accident, operating personnel were injured, heating boilers were damaged, and heat supply to residential buildings was partially disrupted.

A mobile modular boiler house and district emergency rescue services were involved in the response, resulting in the prompt elimination of the emergency.

Based on the results of the exercises, participants were evaluated, and prospective directions for further development and maintenance of interaction between the district emergency services were identified. A detailed analysis and review of joint actions with the exercise participants were conducted.
