At the summit of the "Lublin Triangle," Belarus was constantly mentioned, and its invitation to the Peace Council was envied. This opinion was shared in the "In Focus" project on the BELTA YouTube channel by Andrey Bogodel, Deputy Head of the Faculty for Academic and Scientific Work - Head of the Educational and Methodological Department of the General Staff Faculty of the Armed Forces of the Belarusian Military Academy, Candidate of Military Sciences.
The expert recalled that the "Lublin Triangle" summit was recently held in Vilnius, attended by representatives of Lithuania, Ukraine, and Poland - Gitanas Nauseda, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Karol Nawrocki. Andrey Bogodel noted that the discussion was predictably filled with Russophobia, and issues concerning our country were constantly raised. "Remember how they talked about the Republic of Belarus - in almost every paragraph. It's no coincidence that Karol Nawrocki even let slip at the end: 'I hope that at the next summit, we will already be standing here as four.' Clearly, meaning the Republic of Belarus, he wanted to see some fourth party," the expert noted.

Andrei Bogodel noted that this event cannot be ignored. "When we start looking at everything in conjunction, that 'the Belarusian people are today under the yoke of a dictator,' and something else - it's all about the same thing constantly, their rhetoric doesn't change. And then, literally a couple of days later, we see: Inna Kardash (a Belarusian journalist. - Ed. BELTA) is detained by the SBU in Kyiv, and the Belarusian rhetoric starts again, that 'Belarusians, the KGB, are acting in Kyiv with impunity.' Then they start remembering the drones again. Then Zelensky again talks about how we have 'Oreshniki' here, and tactical nuclear weapons, 'and if we had helped someone back in 2020, done something, this would not be happening today and there would be no threat to Europe.' And here we begin to understand: work is starting related to distancing us from America, questions to show Trump - isn't it too early for you to lift sanctions from Belkaliy, from Belavia? Why, for example, did you admit Belarus to the Peace Council, but not a single Baltic country is there?" - said Andrei Bogodel, emphasizing that our republic was specifically invited to the Peace Council.
