How the main voting day is proceeding in the Glubokoye district

Today, trade and public catering facilities are serving voters at the polling stations, offering a wide range of food products, culinary, and confectionery items.

A festive atmosphere is palpable at polling station No. 8 (Mereckie village). This festive atmosphere is enhanced by the joyful mood and warm smiles of the villagers.

Among the first to vote on the main voting day were the residents of Mereckie village, spouses Natalia and Cheslav Fedorovich. Natalia works as an assistant to the head of the livestock complex at the "Mereckie" agricultural enterprise.

– The mood is excellent! – says Natalia. – I voted for our unity, for our native Belarus, for peace and quiet, for order and cleanliness. Happy holiday to everyone!

At polling station No. 8, located in the building of the Mereckie basic school, a buffet has been operating since early morning. The trade point is organized by the Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant. It offers a wide range of delicious products manufactured by the enterprise and related goods. Voters are happily purchasing meat delicacies.

– We are happy to serve the villagers and create a good mood for them, – says Elena Makarenko, an employee of the "Sned" store of UP "Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant".

Youth are actively assisting at the polling stations in Glubokoye. Volunteers from the BRSM and members of youth law enforcement units are on duty at the stations. The main goal is to help voters, including those with disabilities.

Members of the MOOP "Avangard" unit shared their impressions of their duty during the voting period:

– For us, this is an experience and an opportunity to prove ourselves in a useful endeavor. We are proud to have become part of an important political event.

At polling station No. 4, located in the building of the Glubokoye MCC, a wonderful tradition continues: members of the election commission give nice souvenirs to all children who come to the polls with their parents!

The first lucky recipient of a gift was young Matvey Korobyonok, who came to vote with his father Andrey. He received a flag with the plant's logo and sweets.

As part of the elections at polling station No. 4, located in the building of the Glubokoye Dairy and Canning Plant, a tasting of the enterprise's products has been organized. Everyone can try fresh cottage cheese, cheeses, and the famous condensed milk produced by Glubokoye MCC. This initiative is aimed at creating a festive atmosphere and drawing attention to the quality of local dairy products. Participation in the tasting is available to every voter who visits the polling station.

Volunteer squads are ensuring law and order near the polling stations. The squads patrol the streets and the area adjacent to the polling stations to promptly identify citizens who may obstruct law-abiding citizens from casting their vote at the polling station.

– I have been a member of the volunteer squad for many years. We help in maintaining law and order, solving crimes, and even apprehending offenders. At this stage, we have been tasked with ensuring law and order near the polling stations. Each of us is aware of the importance of this mission, – says Konstantin Blin, a member of the volunteer squad from the agricultural unitary enterprise "Meretskiye".
