Dear internationalist soldiers of the Glubokoye district, veterans of the war in Afghanistan!

On February 15, our country commemorates the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers.

Thirty-six years ago, the operation of the limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan concluded. Thousands of kilometers away from their Motherland, our soldiers, demonstrating heroic resilience, courage, and selflessness, were the first to challenge international terrorism, halting its spread across the globe for many years.

We pay tribute to the soldiers, sergeants, officers, and all those who displayed bravery, courage, and true patriotism, fulfilling their military and civic duty to the Motherland at the cost of their own lives. We remember every name, share the pain and bitterness of these losses. We bow our heads low before the resilience and patience of the parents, relatives, and loved ones of the fallen internationalist soldiers.

We extend words of gratitude to the veterans. We thank you for your active civic stance, active participation in the public life of Glubokoye region, and for the patriotic and spiritual-moral education of the younger generation.

We wish all internationalist soldiers good health, peaceful skies, optimism, prosperity, and good luck. May your unity and solidarity inspire you to achieve new goals, become a starting point for further accomplishments and good deeds.
