The number of citizen appeals regarding the activities of bailiffs decreased by 6% over the year

The number of citizen appeals regarding the activities of bailiffs in 2025 decreased by 6%, Minister of Justice Yevgeny Kovalenko told reporters before an expanded meeting to summarize the performance of enforcement agencies in 2025 and define tasks for 2026, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"An important criterion for evaluating the performance of any government body is the number of citizen appeals received in connection with the activities of the relevant structures. We note a 6% decrease in the number of citizen appeals received regarding the activities of bailiffs over the past year," said Yevgeny Kovalenko.
Nevertheless, the total number of appeals amounted to about 9,000. According to the minister, this means that much remains to be done to ensure high-quality interaction between bailiffs and citizens directly at the local level, without requiring subsequent appeals.
