President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received a report from the General Director of the open joint-stock company "Agrokombinat "Dzerzhinsky" Vladimir Lukyanov, BELTA correspondent reports.
"It is important for the owner to have some money reserve. This is understandable. But there is no need to save money now so that it lies idle, even in bank accounts. It is better to invest in business. And this is necessary. We will stimulate you to do this. Especially state officials, state enterprises. And private ones too. They also turn to us for support. So let's solve state issues. Therefore, we need to invest. And where to invest? We need to invest in enterprises, collective farms, state farms, we need to invest in land. Because that's where the feed and grain come from, which you will need for your poultry. And if there is pork, something else... It's grain. You won't feed pigs and especially poultry with hay, straw, or silage - you'll need grain. Therefore, you need to invest," said the head of state.
"It's good that you are developing. A powerhouse, of course (referring to the agro-industrial complex. - BELTA note). You are working profitably. You need to proceed very cautiously with these mergers," added Alexander Lukashenko.
