Lukashenko personally checked the combat readiness of the Armed Forces

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko personally checked the combat readiness of the Armed Forces. The Head of State visited the 227th combined arms training ground in the Borisov district as part of a snap inspection, a BELTA correspondent reports.
Upon arrival, the Head of State heard a report on the progress of the inspection measures. Details were provided by Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, who was only informed of the President's unexpected arrival at 7 a.m.
Alexander Lukashenko inquired about the preliminary results of the inspection. "The army is capable of fighting. All marches have been completed, and no one was lost on the march," reported State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Wolfovich.
The Head of State visited the battalion's command and observation post in the concentration area, where he communicated with servicemen and familiarized himself with the implementation of inspection measures. Among other things, the conversation touched upon the living conditions of the servicemen.
The President emphasized the importance of conducting such inspections to maintain a high level of troop training. "Everyone undergoes inspection. Even the Minister of Defense and the State Secretary," noted Alexander Lukashenko. "It's winter now, so we will inspect everyone."
"I am not saying that it will happen tomorrow. But I cannot say that it will not happen at all," the Belarusian leader remarked, speaking about the need to be prepared for any development of events.
The Head of State also visited the dugout where the personnel are accommodated. Although the conditions are military-style field conditions, they are more than acceptable in the event of war. "You have a resort here," Alexander Lukashenko noted, recalling how he had to fight in harsher conditions during his service.
The President stressed that soldiers must be provided with everything necessary to perform their tasks.
