Lukashenko: a very important year, 2026, is beginning for us, and we must not fail it under any circumstances

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called the newly arrived 2026 a very important year for the country, which cannot be failed. The head of state stated this while hearing a report from the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik, a BELTA correspondent reports.
The Ambassador, taking the opportunity, congratulated the President on the New Year and the upcoming Christmas.
Alexander Lukashenko, thanking for the congratulations, emphasized: "A very important year for us is beginning. We must not fail in 2026. God has taken pity on us: snow has fallen, covering the crops (we sowed well, and the shoots are good). Therefore, things are more or less fine with us across the republic. All that remains is for us to do our job. Therefore, the new year for us is the beginning of new endeavors."
