Lukashenko heads on an official visit to Algeria

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has departed for an official visit to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, BelTA reports.
This is the first high-level visit in the history of relations between the two countries.
The head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko and the President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune will hold negotiations in narrow and expanded formats, focusing on deepening trade and economic cooperation and implementing mutually beneficial bilateral projects. Prospects for equipment supplies and cooperation, interaction in the agro-industrial complex, medicine, education, and the humanitarian sphere in general are planned for discussion. Following the negotiations between the leaders of the countries and the visit as a whole, bilateral documents will be signed on the development of cooperation in various fields. Algeria will be the fourth state that the President will visit during a major trip to countries near and far abroad. Alexander Lukashenko headed here from Oman, where he was on a working visit. Prior to that, the Belarusian leader visited Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan.
