President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a working trip to the Mogilev region, was briefed on the state of affairs at the Zarya agro-industrial complex, BelTA correspondent reports.
The conversation primarily focused on the financial and economic activities of the Zarya agro-industrial complex. The State Control Committee identified some problematic issues in fodder storage before the head of state's visit. Alexander Lukashenko drew the particular attention of the agro-industrial complex's General Director, Ekaterina Zarovskaya, to this matter.
Overall, the farm is doing well. Profits are directed towards production development and equipment upgrades. The average profitability for the farm is 6.6%, and in processing, it is around 12-13%. Zarya is also quite successful in cultivating various crops, which was the subject of a detailed discussion with the head of state.
