Lukashenko congratulated missile troops and artillerymen on their professional holiday

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated veterans and servicemen of the missile forces and artillery on their professional holiday – Missile and Artillery Forces Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"The date of November 19, 1942, is forever inscribed in the history of our country and is closely linked to the beginning of the victorious offensive of the Red Army near Stalingrad, which brought a fundamental turning point in the course of the Great Patriotic War. The current generation of missile troops and artillerymen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus today continues and multiplies the glorious combat traditions of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers," the head of state noted. - I am convinced that, being in constant combat readiness, constantly improving professional skills and mastering modern complex equipment, each of you is ready at any moment to stand up in defense of the country and the people."
Alexander Lukashenko expressed words of gratitude to the veterans who have dedicated many years of their lives to serving the Fatherland and continue to work with young people, passing on their rich experience and knowledge.
"I thank all of you for your loyalty to your profession and military duty," the congratulatory message reads.
The President wished the servicemen good health, well-being, strength of spirit and resilience, as well as new successes in their military service for the benefit of their native Belarus.
