Lukashenko on the financial performance of the woodworking industry: our money and prospects are there

The financial performance of the woodworking industry indicates where our money and our prospects lie. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to woodworking unit No. 2 of the Orsha Forestry in the agro-town of Kopys, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Minister of Forestry Alexander Kulik reported to the President on the provision of forestry enterprises with modern logging equipment and the woodworking industry with wood raw materials. Speaking about exports, Alexander Kulik noted that products are supplied to the markets of 16 countries. It was noted that financial results in the woodworking industry have improved.
"This shows where our money and our prospects are. Not even in oil refining. We have our own raw materials, this needs to be developed. And everything that corresponds to these raw materials," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
The discussion touched upon the fact that organizations of the Ministry of Forestry supplied 10 million cubic meters of wood to state-owned and private woodworking enterprises of our country last year. The Administrator of the Presidential Affairs Yuri Nazarov pointed out that enterprises processing wood in large volumes need to understand the prospects.
