Lukashenko approved the plan for the preparation of draft legislative acts for 2025

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 477 on December 30, approving the plan for drafting legislative acts for 2025. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The main criteria for forming the plan were the real need of society for the regulation of relevant relations and the priority of their legal regulation. Special attention was paid to compliance with the requirements of systemicity, complexity, and stability of legal regulation.
In 2025, it is planned to prepare both fundamentally new legislative acts (Health Code, Environmental Code, Law "On Aquaculture") and those aimed at the systematic updating of existing laws.
In addition, work is planned on draft laws and decrees based on the results of the legislative review currently being carried out in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, in order to eliminate excessive technical regulation, overburdening of legislation with normative legal provisions, and reduction of the legal framework as a whole.
According to the plan, it is also envisaged to prepare a decree aimed at improving the norms of Decree No. 551 of November 28, 2005 "On Measures to Improve Road Traffic Safety".
