At least five new technoparks will appear in Minsk over the next five-year period. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced this during his visit to the Minsk City Technopark, BelTA correspondent reports.
"We needed to look at our brainchild (Minsk City Technopark, to which the unclaimed territories of the motorcycle and bicycle plant were given. - BelTA's note). Now we are planning - the city executive committee will create about five technoparks in Minsk. Gradually, we will create similar technoparks, larger and smaller. At the Horizont plant, as we used to call it, we will develop appropriate high-tech production facilities. There will be less iron and more brains there," the President said.
