The Head of State is personally monitoring the progress of a large-scale snap inspection of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces.
On January 28, Alexander Lukashenko heard a report from State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Wolfovich. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader. The President was informed in detail about the specifics and interim results of the inspection, how personnel and equipment are coping with the assigned tasks, and how the provision and storage of material assets are organized.
Alexander Lukashenko was particularly interested in how the accommodation and daily life of personnel are organized in difficult weather conditions, and the availability of necessary uniforms.
The Head of State specifically emphasized the issues of using the experience of modern military conflicts in relation to the Belarusian forest and swampy terrain.
The President set the necessary tasks for the further course of the inspection activities, which will last until the spring of the current year. Based on its results, a detailed analysis will be carried out to eliminate possible shortcomings and adjust the work on improving the Armed Forces, training and educating personnel.
