Events at railway transport facilities "Children and Safety"

From May 20 to May 29, events titled “Children and Safety” are being held on railway transport facilities in the Gluboksky district, aimed at preventing injuries and offenses, including those committed by minors on transport facilities.
The main cause of death under the wheels of railway transport is the state of intoxication of the victims, as well as personal indiscipline when in close proximity to a source of increased danger.
In this regard, we would like to remind you of personal safety measures when on railway transport facilities:
• Pedestrians must cross railway tracks only at designated locations, using pedestrian bridges, tunnels, and crossings.
• Before crossing the tracks on a pedestrian crossing, ensure there are no moving trains, locomotives, or wagons. When a train, locomotive, or wagons are approaching, stop, let them pass, and after ensuring there is no moving rolling stock on adjacent tracks, continue crossing.
It is strictly prohibited:
• To walk on railway tracks.
• To cross or run across railway tracks in front of an approaching train if the distance to it is less than 400 meters.
• To cross the tracks immediately after a train from one direction has passed, without ensuring that no train is approaching from the opposite direction.
• To cross railway crossings when the barrier is closed or the red signal of the crossing signal is displayed.
• At stations and on sections between stations, to crawl under wagons and climb over couplers to cross the tracks.
• To walk along the railway track within 5 meters of the outer rail.
Violation of these rules entails administrative liability under Article 18.2, Part 4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus: punishment in the form of a warning or a fine of up to 2 base units.
For a person driving a vehicle who violates the rules of crossing a railway crossing: a fine in the amount of 2 to 4 base units.
For intentional damage to a vehicle or communication routes, as well as blocking transport communications, citizens bear criminal liability.
