Youth for Safety: A Step Towards a Secure Future

From October 6 to 17, the information and propaganda campaign "Youth for Safety" will be held in Glubokoye, aimed at attracting the attention of the younger generation to the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters (BYPA). The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus is the initiator of the campaign.

As noted in the Glubokoye Regional Department of Emergency Situations, the campaign is aimed at forming a culture of life safety among youth.

As part of the campaign, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with young rescuers, will hold a marathon of good deeds under the symbolic names "112 Good Deeds" and "101 Good Deeds". According to the Glubokoye Regional Department of Emergency Situations, young volunteers will provide feasible assistance to the elderly, including cleaning household plots, harvesting crops, and preparing firewood.

Special attention will be paid to ensuring fire safety in the homes of elderly citizens. Young rescuers will tidy up dwellings and install autonomous fire detectors, which, according to experts, will significantly increase the safety of people of the "golden" age.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will also focus on working with the younger generation. Events will be held in educational institutions aimed at popularizing the movement of young rescuers-firefighters, forming a culture of safe behavior, and attracting new members to the BYPA.

The participants of the campaign will be treated to thematic contests, quizzes, and lotteries with gifts and surprises from the Ministry of Emergency Situations staff. As reported by the organizers, the ranks of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters will undoubtedly be replenished with new active participants.
