To help every resident of our country celebrate the New Year holidays without emergencies, rescuers will conduct the annual republican information and propaganda campaign «Safe New Year!» from December 16 to December 30.
Winter holidays are usually prepared for in advance, ensuring that these days bring joy and leave the most pleasant memories. However, in the pre-holiday rush, people often forget about the important: the need to protect themselves and others from fire incidents, because such attributes of upcoming celebrations as electric garlands, sparklers and candles, firecrackers and fireworks can seriously spoil the good mood. How to avoid this? The answer is simple: play the New Year's fairy tale strictly according to the rules of fire safety.

The 1st stage will take place from December 16 to December 20, with students of schools and extracurricular institutions as the target audience. Rescuers will conduct interactive classes on life safety basics with them using the games "Steps to Salvation" and "5 Differences", and will offer them to participate in thematic competitions and the quiz "Fireworks of Safety".

Fire Ded Moroz and Snegurochka will visit shopping centers, markets, and Christmas tree markets, where they will conduct interesting and educational interactive activities with shoppers, and hand out instructions on the safe use of pyrotechnics, commemorative calendars, and booklets.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations invites everyone to participate in the campaign and spend the holidays not only interestingly but also safely. It also reminds that pyrotechnic products should only be purchased in specialized stores. Before use, it is necessary to study the instructions, and pyrotechnic products should only be launched by adults in an open area, far from cars and residential buildings.
