The 'Holidays without Smoke and Fire' campaign is nearing its finish line

There isn't much time left until the end of the holidays, and the employees of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations are not missing a single opportunity to teach young citizens the basics of life safety. As part of the "Holidays without Smoke and Fire!" campaign, rescuers visited kindergartens, health camps, and invited children for an excursion to the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations to achieve the main goal of the campaign – to prevent fires caused by children's mischief with fire, and to prevent child deaths and injuries.

At the beginning of the meetings with the children, rescuers focus on learning emergency service numbers, the importance of observing life safety rules, and how to act correctly in emergency situations.

"Let's repeat the most important rule in case of fire with you again, kids – don't panic," explains an EMERCOM employee, "you need to call rescuers at '101' or '112', state your address, and quickly get outside."

In addition to the words spoken and to reinforce the information received, watching the animated series "Special Squad 112" and "The Magic Book" with a discussion of important moments in the actions of the main characters is a mandatory element.

An excursion to the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations was also a real gift for the children, as every child wants to get acquainted with the daily life of rescuers as closely as possible. Rescuers demonstrated the emergency rescue equipment and special equipment used by the EMERCOM, talked about the rescuer profession, and showed what they use to fight fires and other emergencies. Of course, everyone who wished had the opportunity to try on the rescuers' combat gear. During the excursion, EMERCOM employees gladly answered the children's questions and shared interesting stories from their work.
